Cadiz City is now one of the top tourist destination in Negros Occidental. The city has been popularly known to its colorful Dinagsa Festival, that they celebrate every 3rd week of January where people around Negros were all gathered to witness the fun of their feast.Recently, Cadiz has earned a lot of attention online because of the famous Lakawon Island and Tawhai Floating Bar.
HOW TO GET THERE:
- From Bacolod City, take a cab or jeepney going to Northbound Terminal
- From Northbound Terminal,ride a bus going to Cadiz
Fare:95 (air-conditioned bus) || 55(air-conditioned bus)
Note: Inform the bus conductor that you’re headingto Lakawon Island so they can drop you off at Martesan Terminal.
- From Martesan Terminal,hail a tricycle going to the port
Fare: 20 pesos
Once arrived at port, you must pay for the boat ticket and terminal fee. Travel time from port to Lakawon Island is about 15 minutes.
